Social Media is a growing phenomeon expanding the horizons of the internet and re-expanding our personal horizons. This media is personal; it connects us directly with people, their friends and what is going on in their lives. A powerful connection when you ponder its personal meaning and depth.
But, sometimes new internet marketers, sales professional, and business owners haven't discovered that fact and in their excitment about their company or business, plunge right in trying to sell and promote their products and services. And they often experience rejection and negeative reactions to their contacts. When in reality what they needed to do is get to know that person, make a personal connection first. Most new users to social media do not realize the personal connection most social media user have with their choosen platform; Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and many others are used by millions of internet users everyday.

According to FORBES Magazine, "Social Media Has Scorching Impact On Small Biz!" (Alison Diana, 09.14.10, 09:45 AM EDT ). The impact and use of Social Media is on the increase.
In its December 2009 study 27% of SMBs surveyed were using social media and NOW the number is 54%! Thats doubled in less than a year. Are you prepared to apply Social Media to your company's marketing stragety?
